Forget the Olympics, Urban Flute Ensemble performs tonight at 7.30 pm!

In an ongoing series of monthly concerts in partnership with historic St. Anne’s, Urban Flute Ensemble (UFE) is delighted to present an eclectic program of Borodin, Bach, Mozart, Sigurbjornsson and Joplin, along with an improv session with our guest Saxophonist, Darren Moore.

As luck would have it, tonight’s concert at St. Anne’s is exactly when Canada faces off against Russia inVancouver – talk about Murphy’s Law – but if you’re in the Toronto area and make it out to the concert, I personally will update the audience as to the score of the game, not just at intermission, but between pieces!

If you choose (and you have my blessing!) to make some nachos, grab a beer and position yourself in front of the nearest tellie, be sure to mark March 31st in your Blackberries when UFE will present an exciting all Canadian & American program in this extraordinary venue.
