Shocked and Awde!
Britten, Tenor, French Horn & Piano
Welcome to what used to be called Awde Street, Toronto.
This slow movement by Benjamin Britten captures the bittersweet atmosphere of not only having been relocated as a school for three years, but the optimistic excitement about moving back to our flagship location at 273 Bloor Street West…no matter how you look at it, 90 Croatia - a.k.a. 90 Awde Street - has served us well as we re-groom the main site!
This soundfile is a rich sampling of what the Glenn Gould Professional School at the RCM has to offer. If you wander the halls - especially around now at the end of the school year - you might happen upon a wide range of instrumental recitals or masterclasses.
Musicians names and links to follow.
