Saturday Students
I had a great time with my Saturday students at the Royal Conservatory of Music today, and promised them that a few of the recordings that we made could be found here within a day or two…
Here is what it sounds like if you put two flutes together:
To create an instant ‘Alto Flute’, join the head and body of one flute together with the body and foot combo of the second flute (not all flutes fit easily, so care should be taken with this!)…here is a second, longer improvised ‘composition’ created on the spot by my 11 year old student and myself:
Another student, attending a local Arts School, has received challenging flute pieces, so after working on this Handel Sonata, I offered her a working model, abbreviating the movements as a point of review and for reference:
Delroy was looking for me to lay out the upper line of his Handel duet so he could give it a listen - hope this helps!
